Roger Federer Juara

Roger Federer meraih gelar juara untuk keempat kali di ajang Masters Cup yang berlangsung di Shanghai, China. Petenis Swiss itu tak begitu kesulitan meraih gelar saat mengalahkan David Ferrer, Minggu (18/11), dengan skor 6-2, 6-3, 6-2.

Selain tahun ini, Federer juga meraih gelar dari turnamen yang diikuti delapan petenis terbaik pada tahun 2006, 2004, dan 2003. Gelar ini sekaligus melengkapi status sebagai petenis nomor satu dunia yang dia pertahankan sejak 2004.

Seperti disiarkan langsung stasiun televisi Star Sports, Federer begitu mendominasi pertandingan yang berlangsung selama satu jam 38 menit tersebut. Selain melalui servis, dengan sembilan ace, Federer juga piawai mengatur tempo permainan dalam pertemuan kedelapannya dengan Ferrer.

Federer enam kali mematahkan servis Ferrer dari sembilan kesempatan, termasuk di game terakhir melalui forehand silang yang tak terjangkau lawan. Adapun Ferrer, yang baru kali ini tampil di Masters Cup, tak mampu sekali pun melakukannya dari empat kesempatan

Saran : Pilih raket dengan berat antara 9 dan 10 ons, punya ukuran kepala sebesar setidaknya 100 inci kuadrat (karena akan memberikanmu kekuatan dan meningkatakn peluang raket mengenai bola) dengan ketebalan tiang setidaknya 25 millimeter.

Advance : Kalau kamu termasuk golongan kedua dan bisa mengembangkan permainan di lapangan, beda ceritanya. Yang kamu butuhkan adalah raket yang bisa mengontrol permainan.
Saran : Pilih raket dengan berat lebih dari 10.5 ons dan punya kepala yang lebih kecil serta ketebalan yang lebih tipis dari raket untuk pemula.

Intermediate : Untuk intermediate, coba raket yang menawarkan paduan kontrol dan power. Tidak terlalu berat tapi juga tidak terlalu ringan.
Saran : Menurut Bruce Levine, seorang racquet advisor, yang dibutuhkan pemain bukan cuma raket yang bisa mengontrol atau memberikan power saja. "Karena power tidak bearti apa-apa kalau kita tidak bisa mengedalikan bola di lapanagan, sebaliknya semua kontrol yang kamu punya enggak ada gunanya kalau kita enggak bisa memukul dengan baik," ujarnya.

I never had luck with younger sexy females, inside or outside the tennis event. Hey, maybe I am simply irresistible to older hags only. Not everyone can say that.
